| Italian Charm Key Chain a Gift for a Helpful Man ---------- Have you wondered what to present to a guy neighbor who helped you with a minor crisis? This neighbor was my own "Knight in Shining Armor" because he came to my aid in my hour of need. I was having an exceptionally bad week. I was stressed about a project that was due at work and wasn't sleeping very well. In fact I was awake the entire night prior to my big presentation. I must have fallen asleep in the early morning hours because, to my horror, I overslept. I vaguely recall turning the alarm off while I was trying to rouse myself, promising myself I would just rest for one more minute. Needless to say, when I awoke and saw what time it was, I actually leaped out ofmy cozy bed, ran across the room and immediately got ready for my huge day at work, forgeting breakfast and rushing out with my arms full of my papers and my purse flung over my shoulder. It wasn't until I reached my parked car half-way down the block that I realized I didn't have my keys in my hand. Panicking, I shoved the paperwork between my teeth while my fingers frantically searched inside my purse for the missing keys.......to no avail. In my hurried state, I had left my keys on the table, inside my locked house. As luck would have it, my next-door neighbor was just arriving home from his night-shift job, parking in an open space across the street. As he got out of his car, with a paper bag containing his breakfast and a cup of coffee in his hand, I all but tackled him as I went across to tell him my problem. I know he felt sorry for me because he immediately helped me into the passenger side of his vehicle, exited his prime parking space and proceeded to drive me to my office. Not only did he deliver me to my destination on time, but he insisted I eat the breakfast sandwich he had purchased, pointing out that he could stop by the drive-thru again for another one on his return back home. Thanks to this wonderful neighbor, I was able to arrive at work on time and make my presentation without my stomach growling. I wanted to give my neighbor something as a token of my appreciation and settled on a key chain. Not just ANY key chain, mind you, but an Italian Charm key chain. Giving my friend an Italian charm key chain was a very appropriate thank-you gift for the kindness he showed me. That terrific neighbor picked me up from work that day and contacted a locksmith to be at my home. He now keeps a spare key to my place on that new Italian charm key chain. It's a strictly platonic arrangement! |
